Saturday, July 14: attendee, “7^th Annual Paddle for the Peace” The paddle will start from the Halfway River bridge (between Fort St. John & Hudson’s Hope BC on Highway 29) to Bear Flat. Eating events free for paddlers. Pancake breakfast provided by West Moberly First Nations. Guest Dr. David Suzuki speaking at end of paddle. “There is no limit to the number of people who can participate; if interested, just show up at the launch location between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. the day of the event.” (Join me if you can!)

“Plans are well underway for a spectacular line-up of Warbirds and other aircraft this summer. The Headliners are: B-17 Sentimental Journey from the Arizona Commemorative Air Force and a P-51 Mustang from Vintage Wings of Canada. A number of other fine aircraft are expected to join the Expo. An estimated 5,000 visitors are anticipated to attend this incredible two day in celebration of our Warbird history.
